Concentrated Finishing Oil – Heritage Natural Finish

Heritage’s Concentrated Finishing Oil is crafted with the same natural oils and solids found in their Original Finish, but with less citrus solvent for a richer formula. Its higher concentration makes it an outstanding choice for surfaces that face daily wear, like countertops, wood floors, or high-moisture areas.

This oil works especially well on reclaimed timbers, softwoods, and other absorbent species, bringing out their depth and beauty. It’s equally effective on furniture, weathered wood, earthen floors, and even concrete. Apply by hand with a cotton cloth, T-shirt, or terry pad—or use a commercial sprayer for larger projects. For fine woodwork and flooring, buffing with a white cotton pad helps achieve a polished finish. On earthen floors, plan for 4–6 coats followed by a final buffing with Heritage’s Liquid Wax End Sealer for a durable, natural sheen.

For dry timbers, Concentrated Finishing Oil also makes an excellent first coat, helping to reduce the number of applications needed. While not required, light wet sanding and buffing between coats can result in an exceptionally smooth surface.

All Heritage oils are non-toxic, biodegradable, and sustainable—free of heavy metals and chemical driers. Though this means longer drying times, it allows for deeper penetration and prevents surface wrinkling. The oil can be applied even in cold temperatures; simply wipe off any excess after a few hours, apply thinner coats, and allow extra drying time.

Cleanup

• Wipe spills or clean brushes with Pure Citrus Solvent, turpentine, mineral spirits, or similar products.
